"The Seventh Moon" Achievement

I'd say just chill in front of the fountain in Uldah. I went a long time without seeing him, but since my last post, I've seen him twice more.

I got my achievement today. The NPC Rosya spawned at Camp Horizon, talked with her about both options. Then I checked in Ul'dah and found Alfgar at the fountain infront the Adventurers' Guild, he spawned at the same time. Talked with him about both options too. Then I got a call from a linkmate that Uriander or what's his name, the GM, spawned at Horizon as well so I went back there, got buffed by him and then, when he vanished, we got swarmed with some random mobs (hypocerfs and gnats). When my Lodestone page got updated the achievement was there. The whole spawn-depop time was some 5-10 minutes I think.

I'm pretty sure it was covered earlier, but do you have to select them or anything to get the achievement?

Some people in my LS reported just being afk at Horizon and got the achievement, but they themselves couldn't be 100% sure. If you can best bet would be click the NPC (green names) and talk to them about both options, and make sure you get buffed by GM when he spawns (white name + GM icon).

From what I've learned, on Palamecia they seem to appear daily at the same time(s), and it also coincides with the 'no music' state in game and bad weather, as some other people here have suggested. I think tonight they appeared at Horizon/Ul'dah on Palamecia around 7:00-7:30 PM GMT+1 but I've noticed that there was also no music in the morning (don't remember the time) but didn't see any pop. I may have just missed them then or they may have spawned at some other camp(?), also didn't check Ul'dah in the morning.

I can help you out with that: I was at Horizon and saw the GM spawn a couple weeks ago. Got the buffs, killed the mobs, etc but never got the achievement. The missing link? I never spoke to any NPCs so I think that's the trigger for the achievement, not just being there.

Ahhh, thanks for the information. He seems to appear everytime I go to work :/ So it's really too bad I have to select him.

I've only spoken to Alfgar in Ul'dah, and I got the achievement.

i just found i have achievment and i only saw and tried totalk to the guy in uldah by adv guild n little fountain near chocobo

Is this achiv still work?
I talked to Alfgar on 25 october and no ahivment for me

Talked to Bloehyr twice last month and no achiv also -__-

No, sorry. This achievement became unattainable since 1.18. It was around when Alfgar and Roysia talked about Urianger appearing (who was GM controlled at that time, not an NPC), but since 1.18 they announce Imperial Attacks.
