Minion Wishlist

I'd like minions of the primes, since we never got them properly as summons.

Sure it would be a slap in the face to the actual summoners, but we all know playing summoner is the definition of being slapped in the face at every given update.

Remember when people on this forum were all "MINIONS! WHY?! WASTED RESOURCES! BHBSHAHSJAHJSHAJKHKJBSKBDKS! "JUMP? I WANT A JUMP FILTER! I DON'T WANT TO SEE PEOPLE JUMP!" "LEGACY!? NO FAIR!" Silly wasn't it?

Aw, hecks yes Moombas!!! And agreed about the dragoon wyvern, but maybe they could make that class specific for dragoons the same way the unicorn mounts are specific to white mages. And in response to special event minions: for a winter holiday I'd love to see the little goblin riding the santa sleigh from the FFXI firework. XD

None - remove all minions from the game unless there is a way to train and fight with them similar to ffxi's little arena thing. Otherwise they serve no purpose. Also please remove the stupid jump ability! Tired of seeing people jump up walls and crap!

Either mini versions of older FF characters like Kefka, Cloud, Squall, Garnet, Yuna, Shadow Lord, Ashe, Lightning. Make 'em have big heads. Small bodies but big heads, yeah.

Or superbosses from the other games. I'd like an Ozma minion.

Technically, the Tender Lamb (also Blue Bird and Windup Goblin) minion is already in game, but nobody knows how to get it, or if the method of acquiring it is active. People believe it's from some FATE that nobody does in one corner of the world, but it could be like the Cactaur minion where you have to complete a specific quest to unlock the acquirement quest (pure speculation please DO NOT take what I say as fact)

There are no light or dark elementals in FFXIV, as there are no light or dark elements in FFXIV (Astral and Umbral are not elements).

No, back when we had elementals, there was only six. I'd rather have the sprites than the elementals anyways, the elementals were less visually interesting. Instead of distinct designs, they were all small winged glowing humanoids; the only difference between them was the different elements were different colors.

And it's less likely but I'd love to see one of the Fairy monsters from FFIX made into a minion at some point. Either Gimme Cat or a mini-Ragtime Mouse would be great :D (Edit: or a Yan!)

They are currently exploring methods that will allow you to show your appreciation for your minions and companions, such as introducing the ability to pet them.

Maybe petting my coblyn larva will calm him down a bit…

Oh, also I'd love more airship minions from the other FF games (since the Wind-up Airship is already a non-XIV airship model). I'd love a Lagunarock or Highwind airship minion sooo much.

I'm not sure what 'Bronies' means, but if you mean that I like unicorns, I do. I am a horse trainer IRL, and the one and only thing I always envied from WoW, Wild Arms and other RPGs was that you could ride horses there. Now that I can do that in Final Fantasy, I'll take a unicorn over a chicken any day. Is that so wrong?

I want a succubus minion!

I don't know about which new minions I would want, but what I do want is some body armor, a helmet, a sword and a shield for my Goobbue Sproutling. :)

I would also like to be able to summon my minions while on the duty server, but that's just a pipe dream I guess.

I'd want mini/chibi primals or dragons.

OMG, pleeeeeeeaaase, an animation where you can walk around holding your minion (such as the wind-up Qiqirn). And on the subject of minions, a wind-up Carbuncle minion I can hold or place on my head would be wonderful :)

Can we have Opo-Opo butler minions for free company housing?

Now if only theyd fix those mixed up names.

I'd rather be able to fight them against other minions, play hide and seek in housing with them, and see some of them scuttle about in my house doing their own thing.

What about raising our minions as virtual pets?
