You ever tried doing it with a /shout group? Because I am pretty sure you haven't if you're making those statements. Your average person will have a very difficult time with Titan.

if this game wasn't plagued with horrific netcode you'd find 80% of those suffering issues in boss fights wouldn't be.
got really old watching my character take damage to tells that are obviously being loaded on my screen late so no amount of getting out of them with 50% left on the cast timer meant anything.
the game has a SERIOUS flaw many players are mistaking for other players fault or lack of skill, the rampant use of workarounds should be evidence enough that the problem exists but some people are simply too egotistical to see whats kicking them in the faces.
with SE hiding its head in the sand as one player was correct enough to post in the other thread about this issue I personally don't expect it ever to be resolved so this game will lose a substantial number of players who are sick of the pathetic latency built into the game as well as the horrible netcode running it.
No, he stated they had to tone it down so it can be done through DF - he stated it multiple times. Part of the reason is "the difficulty ended up being higher than intended" - Not my fault you didn't keep up with all of the interviews.
Did you know? Initially it was supposed to be here at launch but they held off on it along with the moogle battle which is supposed to have been before Titan in terms of difficulty? No excuses made, those are his words.
Things are not meant to be earned simply by showing up. Stop setting the bar so low. Winning a relic while completely failing the fight that's supposed to earn it for you is not good game design. Some amount of carrying is going to possible in any encounter, but Titan has too much. It's not about "easy" and "hard", it's about people who participate in their win and people who observe their win (whether by choice or circumstance).
this is rich! ok lets ask the devs to add a "if you die even once during any endgame fight raised or not" you are automatically removed from the loot pool you do not pass go and do not collect 200$
wounder just how many speed records you'd set posting this was unfair to participants in a fight that ended with the bosses being beaten.
Wow, it's like you think every endgame encounter in the game has to be either 5-mannable (plus 3 dead weight) or it's "too hard". That's rich.
Edit: I already listed a bunch of things from 1.0 that weren't possible with 3 dead people that were still perfectly doable (lots of people got relics in 1.0).
And this is kinda lame and boring imo, all mobs and bosses should have random ability patters with small limitations(no multiple OHK and big hitter skills in row)because then you would need to adapt in diffirent scenarios on the fly instead remembering repetaple patterns that keeps looping till the mob hits the ground.
It's absurd because there are plenty of other factors related to someones death besides skill/knowledge of the fight. Things like...ohh I dont know, shoddy server infrastructure, lag, disconnects, RL emergencies, power outages, griefing, etc etc. If bosses gace no drops if you died, you would see a whole new class of griefing/troll behavior among people who want to spoil someone elses chances for loot, and anyone who is getting the middle finger from SE on server issues or have the current ISP issues that many face would not welcome this change either. Bad idea in my opinion.
Being denied loot for dying is such a childishly simple way to go as well, indeed.
inb4 the "harder than hardcore geimurzzz" going "But I did the most DPS!" when they have a single lapse in judgment. :p
I'm going to assume based on your comments along with your screen name you're intentionally trolling. This is one of the worst ideas I've ever heard of. Look, I don't mean to be offensive but come on you really don't see just what people would do? As a healer I could let everyone I dislike or feel undeserving die to increase my odds of getting the item I or my friends want. It's horrible.
