Selling HM titan kills

Raze_Krauser is correct this isn't supported by SEQ. I recommend helping without payment. Raze is right that you are acting self righteous and to pull your head out of your butt.

And it is a scam one way or another. Either you are one of the people known (and addressed by SQEX) to accept gil, d/c, and runaway. Trading gil (in moderate quantities) is within the design of the game. Grouping for instanced events is also within the design of the game. Looking at them separately it's harmless, and legal. Putting them together raises suspicion.

Now take what i said before, how your scumbag services creates baddie players and places them in the higher tiers of the game. It "upsets the balance of the game" (as per SQEX). It upsets the community when real players want real quality players to join them in end-game ventures. You rob the community of quality players, you rob the "baddie" player the chance to progress themselves, you rob everyone else of getting a fair shake in the game when you set the standard that "players" need to pay to win and be an end-gamer.

And you know what Square-Enix is going to do?

Nothing.

Why? because they can only see the 2 rights, but can't put it together to see the wrong. In other words, "Congratulations f@ggot! You found a loop-hole."

I told you several times on this thread no matter what, you will never be right, or righteous on this topic.

Besides this parasite and those from a few FC's I've bantered with in Mor Dhona /shout, it warms the heart to know there are still a lot of good people on Goblin server who will teach HM Titan for FREE; granted if the player in need puts effort into their own character as well.

Sadly, I'm not one of them because I've been addicted to crafting and gathering for the past month, lol. Taking my time smelling the roses, playing with mid-leveled characters who are probably better quality players than most current 50s (considering they probably paid $#!%-heads to carry them to that level).

This thread is funny in so many ways.

I really enjoy the fact that people yelling at someone helping baddies aka people that buy Titan kills (their words). I rather think they are people that for some reason can not join a FC that can do Titan because of real life or the fact they do not wish to leave friends and join higher raid lvl FC.

However when someone gives one away for free (or are they just using it as a recruitment tool and mindless sheep are just following their sweet words) They are not helping baddies but helping the less fortunate.

People that think that selling HM Titan kills is against the rules, ask the question on the Development Letter if you actually care or just want to argue with someone after a bad day at work.

Just like to remind people that selling Titan runs is the same as selling crafting service, its a paid service that is offered in game, no RMT is involved so the gil that is used in either case must be earned, also to people screaming about names you do realize that posting someones name on the fourm results in a ban which can possibly go into a perma ban depending on the severity of the situation. Although Id like to also remind people that if you shout in places like Mor then you might actually find people willing to show you how to beat titan, some FC's do this for free, others might require you to consider joining their FC's, it might save you 150-200k in the long run.

I only posted about this because people like one of the ragers is yelling and raging about someone selling a HM Titan and how it is a way of pushing unskilled people through content and steps should be taken against this.

However if you read his comments in the thread about a Free carry through HM Titan (yes it ask you to have gear, but gear does not mean skill) he starts licking their boot like a dog praising them about their good will.

Paying for a Kill is the issue, yes.

But getting lining up for a HM Titan run for free is something totally different, in a totally different context. That is looks like you can't wrap your head around... "Hypocrite", my @$$.

When someone says "for free" in the context of running HM Titan; it's basically to counter-act the parasite service that a few offer. Basically saying "Why pay for it, when our FC is willing to let you in our runs without cost? We look at building a community, networking, recruiting for our own FC....etc. Proving that we are the friendly ones that want see our FC grow and be successful, while seeing the individual grow too."....thinking I'm full of crap? The Goblin board as a whole can prove you wrong right here and now. Hell, to be fair, I'm sure you are right and they'll run Titan like a win-seller would by letting them die in the corner while the rest to the work, and for free; JUST to make win-selling a profit-less venture. Sure I'll still stand by what i said; that kind of playing is weak-sauce.

So the people that get free runs are not scrubs? Why is it they could never get HM Titan down till someone carried them through, it could be skill or it could be bad luck, to many what if's and your silly if you are blind to the fact that Free HM Titan runs and Buying/Selling HM Titan runs are the same.

I never said I was against giving away Free HM Titan runs, I have even praised their guild because it can be a good recruitment tool, because it gets their Free Company name out. I don't think they are the same entirely.

Like most things it comes to motive and context, and most importantly how those two define the word "free".

Does "Free" mean the alternative to paying for it? Does "free" mean looking for a no fuss/no muss invite to the raid? Does "Free" mean recruiting opporutines? Does "Free" mean not relying on scumbag services, and seeing others win on their own accord; making win-selling a profit-less venture? Does "Free" mean looking to make friends, or a core group of players with little or no experience building them up to be top-teir players down the road?

If "Free" means the same quality of service as if you bought it (which means dying in the corner, and let others work), that it's charity work from the top-tier FC's, I personally wouldn't agree with it since you do fall into the same trap of as if you bought your way in. You don't learn anything about the mechanics of the fight, the mechanics of your class, or the mechanics of how MMORPGs in general are suppose to work (by it's intended design). But it would be the lesser evil, since you are not PAYING TO WIN.And that is whole other can of worms that effect other MMOs as well. The idea that someone is telling you that you can't progress any further unless you pay a lot of gil for the access. And if they can't come up with that gil they turn to RMT for it. That this becomes the norm for MMO playing; and the circle goes round and round.

I'd turn my back on "Charity-runs", if it proves "Win-selling" to be unprofitable, and gives the community a fair shake at playing their game.

Thankful for that guilds on Goblin that are doing Free Titan runs so people aren't blowing 500k on a goon squad titan kill and putting some of that money into the market.

Bottle Water is $1.50 when water from the tap is free, but people buy the bottle water. Why? It is that convenience is what people wish for, convenience is what people selling HM Titan are doing. Does a person wish to sit in a zone looking for people to form their own HM Titan group and doing it, waiting for someone run it for them for free if they got the gear, or someone willing to sell it to them for what "they person buying feels is a fair price".

Gamers have to decide what is the price HM Titan and similar content is worth to them and do what makes them happy.

So what if the person getting a free ride (whether buying or carried) dies in HM Titan. Which simple mistakes in HM Titan is not as forgiving in the other HM, even though Garuda is more technical but very forgiving on mistakes. If you was helping someone with HM TItan and they died would you just make the raid wipe and restart because they made a mistake?

$1.50 bottled water vs tap water compared to.... 500k paid titan kill or a free kill...

I'm not seeing the comparison. You only make about 350k ish doing the storyline so the new low levels who can spare 500k for a titan kill then have no income for anything on the market thus sucking Goblin's economy dry.

If you are going to use a "bottle water" analogy like that, best do your research on bottled water to know the harmful effects it does have.

Some plastics in those bottles have cancer producing properties when stored in rooms above room-temperature when they get released into the water inside. So ask yourself where the hell does Wal-Mart keep those thousands of the palate-stacks of bottled water? Then there is the environmental issues with the bottles after you're done drinking cancer'd water.....and google is your friend...

So you can go ahead and make all the "Capitalism is right, cuz Capitalism told me so" postings all you want.
