Not to be mean, but that is a bad personality to have to host a rpg game.

ive held a number of singleplayer ones before. where it was just me and one friend playing the game. most of them finished up really well. its just trying to manage one with more then 1 person thats a problem. and mainly the reason for that, is because its hard to keep track of everything, and keep it going if everyone has different schedules.
nah, i don't care about typos really, it's just that the meaning was funny.
(long, eerie silence)
beating a dead horse..
- Means a particular request or line of conversation is already foreclosed or otherwise resolved, and any attempt to continue it is futile.
You did ones with just a friend...
You trying to host one. Hosting one and just doing one with a friend is completely different. And by most of your replies, you do not handle meeting new people well. I suggest stick with your friends or start a local group in your city. Also character sheets help when there are multiple ppl, but also you Didn't clarafie how fighting is going to be with out dice rolling.
Or instead of doing this you could make a character on Besaid for just a few days and perhaps shout in town asking people to join your RPG. I have a feeling this might work. Many role-players there like text based RP too.
Make some friends quickly, add them to a messenger/email/website and delete the Besaid char. ^^
Taken into consideration. I guess ill try it.Quote:

come on, i gave you ppl those links for a reason. so i wouldnt have to spend allot of time discussing how its all played with you. i dont want to sound rude, but im getting a bit impatient.
Ok, I made the character on besaid. but im not getting allot of reception, if you know what i mean. nobody seems interested.
i think i might be using a bit too generic a message. im saying: "looking for recruits fior a DND tabletop styled, text based RPG. all interested, please send me a tell."
And i get no responses.
any tips on how i could draw more people in?
Yo Dawg, I herd yo like RPGs, so we put an RPG into yo RPG so yo can RP while yo RP.
Seems a good idea though! If I had time I would join, but school is enough to keep me away from everything but FFXIV and Metal Slug.
Making up tabletop versions of videogame RPGs is not an uncommon practice.
A few years ago I did a Pokemon RPG with a few friends which was pretty fun.
Your problem could be that there just isn't that many tabletop RPGers out there, I'd expect you'd wait a long time in game shouting for it...
And people being arses about it; http://www.greenronin.com/store/product/grr2804.html
Dragon Age Origins launched with a table top RPG to go alongside it, it's a completely different experience you nubs.
Luvs, XD <3
well, if i wont find anyone by shoting in game, then are there any sites you wold recomend where the people might be interested? cause im not getting a large ammount of positive reception here on the lodestone.
You could try these guys: http://www.ffxiv-roleplayers.com/
