Where do you see FFXIV in 5 years?

I'm guessing

All or almost all the Primal fights

Hildebrand Storyline Quests have about 5 or 6 chapters now. (We're about to get chapter 1 of Hildebrand Story quest soon)

lvl 100 will be our level cap

Garlean Empire, Isgard, Radz-at-Han, Sil'dih, and Sharlayan will be accessable.

Main storyline will be greater and size and goes up to lvl 100.

I don't know if I should call you a moron or what. Level 70 crafted gear is only better than DL if quad melded and it can't even compare to Allaghan stats.

On Topic: At this rate? I'll be surprised if it last 5 years.

In the same place every other wow clone is at in 5 years. A couple of servers with enough diehard fans left to pay the bills. Everyone else who recognizes this game as the same old shit will have likely moved on after the first month.

No, no, you're all wrong. We'll see an influx of returning players in 5 years because that's how long it'll take them to implement new classes and jobs to help things stand out. Thief/Red Mage may or may not suck. But by that point the skeptic in me agrees the game will be F2P as well.

It might not also matter due to SE's rather lax attitude in dealing with cheaters and RMT and they'll have sufficiently ruined the economy by then.

It's literally like if FFXI was a WoW clone!

Completely abandoned (short of hardcore fans), if they don't tone down the extremely unwelcoming post-endgame content.

I see my chocobos have an epic family tree, but still far from perfect.
I see myself changing the furniture of my house every week, trying to make it as perfect as possible.
I see myself finding and exploring new ways of earning gil, to get that little upgrade to housing, chocobo, or the building of boats/airships that might come.
I see players like OP is finally gone, and people finally plays because its fun, and players actually help eachother out instead of raging when someone is watching a cutscene.

I see a lot more too, but hopefully you have taken the point.
