I actually was shouting on Hyperion for people with No experience and moderate gear to make attempts. Needless to say, we successfully got him to about 10% several times out of the maybe 7-8 runs we did. Didn't really do it for very long.

Could be people on their 4th 5th 6th whatever relic and want a quick run.

I understand the OP's pain, because it's a very frustrating cycle for every new 50.

The problem is, to get the gear, you have to be able to get into the instances/farm the tomes. I started with WP and worked my way up; I've got about 4 pieces of DL so far, most of my AK gear, and I've been 50 for not quite a week. Do I expect to get it all right away? No. Would I like to have the ability to get into runs and get Tomestones so that I can get into harder content? Yes. I'm lucky to have a static tank/healer to do AK with, but we're only 3 people. The super long queues don't help, nor do the restrictive requirements.

There are tons of CM runs with no requirements. Do those or start one yourself.

Suffice to say, they were still looking for people after I did 3 PuG runs.

AK is easy, so so easy and can be done in junk gear as long as people understand the mechanics of the fights. Parties advertising absurb gear requirement runs are silly. Only titan and coil requires some what decent gear...rest can be done by new 50s, albeit not as fast as a blinged out crew but still feasible.

Not any worse than ICC 10Man, LFM 6,200+ GS required.

This entire thread is silly. People are looking to clear trash farm content as quickly as possible to get their stuff and get out, its totally reasonable especially once you've run AK/CM 50-100+ times over the last few weeks since launch. With full DL and Relic+1 on AK you can clear in 30 minutes instead of that customary 50-60. The demon wall doesnt even get to spawn bees, it just dies.

So.. if you have to run it 8 times for your cap, and plan on doing anything else that week thats not AK (and CM), it's totally reasonable to want to minimize the time spent in the dungeon to free up time for more CM money runs or simply to go and enjoy the game while not worrying about hitting your weekly cap.

I got kicked from an ak shout group pn PLD because I don't have relic and "LOL you'll never keep agro". Que'd up solo a min later, relic+1 bard and relic monk. Bard was throwing his dots on everything and smelting everything down, not once did I lose hate to him or the monk. We cleared it in a about 20 mins and those guys were still shouting for a tank.

I love when groups yell out requirements like that- they are basically screaming "I'm going to be a little bitch through the whole run, so be prepared!" =D

Those people are the same ones who have complete nerd rage psychotic meltdowns when someone misses a mechanic. I'd rather find out who they are BEFORE I get into the group than after. If my run takes 5 more minutes with normally geared people, but I actually have fun, then I'm all for it :)

If you can kill garuda before the first sisters even spawn, so about 4min's in, its faster than spamming pratorium or w/e for points, which is why people /shout for high gear req's, you either do the dmg or its slower.

I love it even more when you see these 'full DL/AF+1/relic gear only' shouts, then you check who's shouting and see they dont even come close to matching what they're asking for. I mean...good on them for working out how to get free carries without dropping 700k on a 'guaranteed win'

Let people choose the parties they want. It doesn't matter. There are a lot of people playing this game at different levels of experience. There are plenty of people willing to try just to learn the fight and have fun with it. These are not the ones shouting for parties, but they are out there. It doesn't matter if you are undergeared or inexperienced, You probably won't succeed, but there is no rule against trying. But you want to find people who don't mind that or you are going to have a bad time. But there are people who understand that wiping several times is the only way to learn. (And no, Youtube doesn't give you the instincts).

PUG'ing Garuda? RIP blood pressure. I am pretty bad and this is my first MMO, but using DF for HM's has been so stressful. I wish I had a group of friends that played the game to practice, but alas I will be PUG god till Titan for sure.

i only have 5 DL gears, iLv 55-60 acc, and Garuda weapon
back in my "titan training" days, i managed to get titan hp down to 10% with random DF several times
but yes, it's almost impossible to beat him with random DF as it needs team work
as for garuda, it's more like 50% chance
if you get a good party, you can beat her in 1 or 2 tries

after i tried it with my LS, titan was down in 2 tries
that's it, i finished titan in 2 days

It's not like you can cry for mom, and she'll give you something. These people out there are strangers, and no ones gonna believe what you say, the only thing that can be proven is your gear.

I don't disagree with gear requirements, BUT, "quick run" is kinda stupid for hardmode primals. There's only one boss, how quick can it be. It's not like WoW, where in a 4 hour raid, with 13 bosses to down, a quick run and progression run, probably means the difference of 3 hours and 5 hours.

Plus, there is no way you can determine it's a quick run just by gears. I've had geared runs, with dps failing to kill the sisters in time in Garuda. Really hope parsers / recounts comes out faster, so that geared idiots can finally be kicked out too. :D
