How hard is it to ban the chat /shout spammers in game?

I'm pretty sure the accounts being used are stolen and that RMT 'players' have not, nor ever will pay Square Enix a single dime.

I am so sick of this happening, especially when I'm trying to find something in the chat box and they keep filling it up faster than I can scroll. I've tried just B-listing them, but this is ridiculous. I wish there was a way to right click and report them as spam quickly so SE can look into it and suspend them.

Click on their name (works both ps3/pc) and choose send tell. Put quotes around the name and change the /tell to /blist add

The end-product will look like this: /blist add "Gsggdg ndafjsdj"

Now every time a RMT piece of garbage whispers me, I actually report them. I completely agree with you guys that there should be an option to report with one click but it is clear that will never be available. The people who made the game apparently think us gamers are so stupid that we will accidentally blist our friends. I did not make this up, this is really what they said. Anyway, when you get one of the dozens of whispers a day, go into System > Support Desk > Contact Us > Report Cheating and then fill out the entire form. I know it is a lot of work that we should not be expected to do, but I hope that they actually read these reports and if they manage to ban 1 out of 10 of these heinous RMT rat finks then it is well worth it.

They also post regular cyclical ban reports under Link: "Regarding Actions Taken Against In-Game RMT Ads and Illicit Activities " in the "Notices" tab of the lodestone. We just have to be patient while they implement counters for these problems.

Thank you so much, I had no idea they actually said they'd be implementing this! I apologize to all for speaking without knowing all the facts. I still urge everyone to fill out these reports as I try to do with every single RMT spammer I encounter.
