Swiftcast is even more valuable for Summoners and Scholars. Singling out White Mages suggests that you don't really know what you're talking about. :)

Really this is the truth. While it's imperative that the group avoids death throughout the instance, there will always be that one time that things go bad. A WHM or SCH with Swiftcast + Ressurection/Raise at that point can really spell the difference between a complete wipe, or regaining your group's balance and pushing on.

I agree that WHM needs a sort of swiftcast, but forcing all healers to level thaum to 26 is a little unfair imo. They should either get their own swiftcast-esque ability or a separate raise on a longer cooldown that has no cast time.

it is such an important ability...not just for raise but for every moment you need to squeeze a spell right the hell now
Tank got hit hard and is in the red. Your still dodging stuff Swiftcast -> Cure 2
Party is taking some real dmg Swiftcast -> Medica 2
back up WHM is down Swiftcast -> Raise
etc etc
Please WHM get this ability
