My "FF XIV has crashed again" jpurnal.

Have you tried reinstalling your graphic drivers?

Computer is not over heating. I've had software running in the background checking temps. No worries there. Computer is basically brand new and sits up on a desk, dust isn't going to be that big an issue just yet.

Nah its been great with everything else. It really is just an issue in FF. Kinda wish it was an issue with another game... that I didn't want to play, that I would be fine with =D

That's if you have a nVidia card. The above post is new ground to me so I'm not sure if it will help you.
I got two GTX680 and I do run Adaptive power but maybe some cards prefer Maximum Power since the Adaptive Power function could be malfunctioning (causing too large drops in power and even mem/gpu clocks for the game to handle?)

Well, if your other stuff is running fine, it's most likely some kind of software issue. Your hardware is bog standard stuff that thousands of people are playing the game with and having no problems.

I assume that even after your formats, you installed various drivers and ran Windows Update. It just so happens that a couple weeks back, a windows update ( kb 2859537 ) was released that caused crashes similar to what you're experiencing to some people.

Try turning off Windows Update, then using system restore to undo the Windows Updates that have been installed. Then just install the drivers you need for the game and see if it's still crashing.
