[Suggestion]Weapon Individualization Per Non-Native Skill

Why would they whine? Because it's a change. You know how resistant to change this community is. Just saying, I see a huge wave of whiners incoming, especially if they actually decided to implement it.

This would remove the need for En-spells to be honest. An when they implement Fencer it could have a skill called "Enchant" that you used first then the next spell you cast is enchanted to the weapon. that way the element is always on the weapon instead of for a specific spell cast.

I think you get a lot of debates going by not saying what you mean. I have a feeling that your "when"s are mixed with your "if"s. If they release Fencer. Not when. No one has a direct line to the FFXIV development team. Let's not pretend that we have one.

The way I see it, they either want it or they don't. And if they want it, they'll level it willingly.

But yeah, I like the idea, but it would take quite a while to accommodate everything.

Of course it would Some would be easy to blanket (All Elementals would be the same per weapon etc.) But some like Wide Volley need to have their own flair each weapon instead of copying from another skill.

Also the time it takes to implement doesn't matter. If they chose to do it does. It would make combat more interesting as even if two players are using the same skill, if they are using two different weapons it will look different when they do.

Its really sad that threads with good ideas that no one has any negative opinion on stay pushed down. And only threads that start controversy stay up.

This would be an awesome way to start diversifying the animations in the game. If they can release a few sidequests with each patch, I don't see why they wouldn't be able to do the same thing slowly rolling out new simple animations as well.

No offense, cardais, but if SE doesn't already have a plan for what's going to happen with FFXIV at this point, the game is going down the tubes.
