JP Server Access

No wonder as it's under maintenance currently.

The NA/EU server list has always been available to me. to be clear I have never seen that list MIA or unable to connect. Now i have had problems actually connecting to individual servers but the list of NA servers has populated 100% of the time i have ever loaded it. If I was intent on being a victim then why would I come here? I do not think that I am personally being targeted but I think that we as in the people who live in the US and possibly a few other EU country's are. I am here to attempt to validate my findings in a logical manner by sharing my experience. So there it is, My agenda is to prove or disprove a hypothesis that i have concerning why the JP list does not load. I did that VPN test earlier but never logged into the servers I just populated the JP server list. It was not until I tried to log in that i found out that there was emergency maintenance going on. What could cause the entire list of JP servers to not show up and the NA servers to show up when the server status is all green (not right now obviously since all JP servers are down)

Of course. Maintenance is currently being performed on the entire JP datacentre. I was in-game, when a message came up warning us of the impending maintenance, and asking us to log out ASAP.

It should be back up in an hour or two, hopefully.

When either side does not show a list you QUIT and restart it and the list will be back up. I've been playing on JP before and launch till now and I play every day.

Like the other guy said its just tossing the dice and hoping both JP NA/EU will list..if not restart it all.

server transfers will not come for another 2 months

im on a jp server and have log in issues just like my friend who is on a na server that has the same log in issues. I know what your thinking omg this guy just punched a big hole in my logic that s-e is trying to screw the na players

That sucks, I had read that it was going to be in September sometime.

Well if everyone is having the same issue then I can not possibly be right. I guess ill just have 2 main characters One on NA servers and one on JP servers. Ill pick one when the servers normalize.
