You only use transpose end game if you messed up in your rotation or the enemy is dead and you ended the fight in astral fire. Thaumaturge rotation is completely different once you get BLM skills. Also interesting flare hits a lot harder than fire 3 even though they are both the same potency...

First off Transpose is amazing at any level for example when i start a fight Blizz III -> Thunder II -> Fire III -> Fire I Spam -> Transpose (when out of mp) -> Thunder II if I don't proc if proc'd then use Blizz I -> Fire III -> Fire Spam. When a new phase starts and I have lost all single target rotation and need to reapply thunder start over. The reason for thunder II as even though its less dps and doesn't last as long the idea is ill proc and use thunder III. The reason I use transpose over Blizz III as Blizz III compared to Blizz I when full astral stacked is not a lot of dps difference. Also by hitting transpose I don't have to use any blizz spell if I have proc'd a thunder as I can hit the proc and start my Fire III and reach full mana before I get it off. The idea is to have maximum mana usage as Fire is by far your dps and blizz is terrible dmg. Maximize is the key word. Myself and other Black Mages that are 50 have gone over both rotations and calculated the dps. (5% higher)

This is a terrible rotation and you should feel terrible.
You're not using Blizzard III for damage, you're using it because it INSTANTLY grants three stacks of Umbral Ice, which regens you to full mana in two ticks which allows you to cast Fire III very quickly, and get back to Fire spamming.
