Those people that insult those who are logged in and absent are naught but bullies. In order to get what they want they pressure people and degrade them.

Those players being bullied are rather like placeholders. They keep the slot locked so the bullies can come and take it from them. By pressuring these people into logging out because, "they are being selfish", you are asking them to give up the slot they fought for so that you can obtain is without hassle.

In nature, to be courteous gets you eaten. Its a battle of resources. While I may be a prey animal, I won't let some predator threaten my quality of life.

Here is another post from a different 'we need afk timer' thread, I couldn't have said it better myself

I have been trying to log on for a couple hours on/off and finally didnt get the error about NA/EU not loaded. Finally got to see my character in character screen and have a QUEUE!

Before I finished this message I was logged in!

There is a queue, it's just long enough that they have to manually allow when it does or does not accept more people into it.

They've said they will look into if they need an AFK logout AFTER they implement what they're already working on, aka, more servers, higher server capacity, which they plan to do on wednesday after they've finished internal testing. How about you read what they're doing and let them finish what they're already implementing instead of people making the same threads over and over.

Edit: In fact, after 2 minutes of trying, just now got in a queue at 512, and I was in before I even finished typing this. Here's proof.

I had the same thing happen to me today as well, makes me wonder sometimes if the Japanese servers are getting these messages too or if we are just the "special" group...

Nope. You guys are just the special group while us on JP servers have 20,000 player caps lol hehe yoloswag .

But seriously come on, no one is being treated better on the basis of where said company operates from. We, as in the JP, SEA and ANZ communities that play on JP servers are all having just as much trouble logging in as anyone else.

I say YES, YES!!!!!!!

Safe zone would be in my Mog House or INN, no kick for LONG-TIME AFK.
