Log Locations

Should be able to click on the name of the monster in the hunting log and it bring up a map and red circle.

I can understand people wanting a bit of exploration value but this is just tedious, monsters are pickled all over the place and half the time aren't anywhere near where the log says they are.

I still can't find the boar poachers in the hunting log and i roamed all over the location to find them so i just give up for now.

I like the way it is right now. I see why you want it to be easier, but considering the tons of xp you get - it really should be quite hard.
Not having the exact location on your map, opens up for a lot more hunting and thinking. For instance all the Yarzon creeps, spending time hunting for them got me realize that they are always located near water.
And so I can use that experience the next time I hunt a Yarzon - by looking at the map for rivers etc.

If hunting is too difficult for you, or you feel it isn't enough of a reward for your time, don't do the activity. If you feel it is enough, then why are you complaining? I sincerely hope SE does not listen to all of the 'everything is too difficult, make it easy' people. Doing that ruins the game for everyone.
