Question about Dungeons

Oh cool thanks for the info! I'm level 19 now actually. Will the quest that open up new dungeons be mark any special way?

u can get atheril stuff from chests in leves also.... ive gotten almost full 20+ heavy armour set just from level chests.... i hate playin tanks but guess ff really wants me to :P

I just wanna say Hatali is not through Storyline. I think everything else but Uldah has a Lalafell NPC person who you need to talk to to begin Hatali.
I dunno the name or where he's at though.
I think it's like Eastern Thanalan or something.

Actually, if you continue the story, you can see that you can't unlock dungeons such as Toto-rak by talking by someone, and that is because they are also part of the story. It's misleading to not complete the story and then tell someone that the dungeons after the first 3 are not required as part of the main scenario.

Hrm, yes I appear to be wrong, I apologize deeply.
It is simply that having seen certain late-game dungeons avaiable as simple sidequests I presumed that the completion of dungeons was not part of the main quest.
Mind I did still refer to certain dungeons being locked by story progress.
