o.O I hope you realize your statement is nonsensical.

It either is better/equal to, or it's not. It doesn't matter if you'll replace it in 10 ranks. And if it's better/equal to, then it screws over crafters for those 10 ranks.

I'm not angry about equipment sales. In my opinion, what makes FFXIV unique is its crafting system, and it totally makes sense. Fighters farm materials that drop from mobs, and crafters make them into finish products. It allows players to work with each other. And now mobs can drop weapons and equipments, it is another way saying that crafting is not necessary. If crafting is not necessary, then what am I doing for the pass 6 months.

It does, Square Enix just screw all the crafters. Today, new NMs can drop equipment. Tomorrow, regular mobs can drop equipments, too. SE is too lazy to create new materials and parts and linking them into finish product. Drop from NWs is the quick and easy solution. Crafters have no new recipts to make and still wearing R30 velveteen Doublet Vest when we are R50. Well done SE, WELL DONE.

Rofl because XI didn't have the majority of NM's drop items. Yet the crafters were still fine.. go figure. Adapt or fail.. stop crying about every little thing jesus.

I say this with knowing it wont make a difference to sway anyone's opinion so I'm just wasting my time ; ; rofl

Might make the crafter's level up a DOW/DOM class and go teach those nasty NM's a lesson.

Um, maybe I'm blind or ignorant...but as gladiator at my rank i really don't see anything on that list that's better than i already have...and i don't have the best stuff either... would you mind enlighten me :rolleyes:

Not saying it wouldn't be cool to have some of those items, they're really nice (I'll eventually make myself go farm them up), but I don't see a reason for panic :)

You realize the reason they didn't just give us items to craft is probably because as they have said already, they intend to tweak the recipes for who knows how many, if not all items, and as such, probably did not want to release like 20 new recipes, only to have to go back and change them a month later.

To the OP: Stop whining... I'm happy they drop something instead of searching for the fricking ppl to make it for me and paying lots of cash for mats.
