So, if my credit card encounters an error, am I allowed to tell them that I'm working on the problem and that they'll just have to wait for their money? I mean, maybe I have to put a cap on how much money they're allowed to take from it, and they'll just have to try to get the rest of my subscription later. Repeatedly. Somehow, I just don't think so.
Odd how my post is more wanting info then the rage you are blanket stating everyone with. Your princple also works the same way as well. If you are tired of reading threads of people venting frustrations about this then you should stop reading and responding to them as well. As it makes you look just as bad as you are trying to paint anyone who is finding an outlet for their frustrations.
Also I was there for vanilla wow launch, but at least there was communication when things went to hell and people would lose character data.
Oh that's easy to clear up - Nobody cares. Do you understand?
I don't understand how they do it. Whenever I go afk for maybe 2 minutes to get a drink, I come back to a 90000 error and can go right back into a queue (if I'm lucky and I get that far) waiting to log back on. :P Needless to say I hardly left my computer this evening and when I did, it was to sprint to the kitchen and back. Not that I would stay logged in even if I could, I agree that they should implement a timer asap. Staying logged in while you're not going to play for a good while is just selfish.
During open beta they should of did a better stress test. Phase 4 was really too short and then open beta had errors, now we have this....
Oh I don't have a problem with this sort of "entitled selfishness", having the game up and running and taking our money is like buying a new car and not being able to turn it on and drive it. What I do have a problem with is the entitlement attitude about logging in and having the "right" to stay logged in...
Hopefully they will add free days to everyone's account until this is fixed. It seems like the Western market has always been underestimated by Japanese businesses. I could list tons of games that "wouldn't do well" in western markets.
Why did it get this bad in the first place?
Did they not have pre-order numbers? Did they decide on 25 non-Japanese servers months ago regardless of how many people pre-ordered + general idea of sales? Why were backup servers not already there waiting for issues like these? Why does it take 5 days to announce you're going to add more servers next week? The game is playable to all customers 2 weeks after launch? What? You put your heart and soul into re-making a failed game, produce an incredible game, yet completely screw up the launch. How was this not something on the list that needed the same amount of attention as the game itself? Why is the communication so horrible? Repeatedly asking for people to understand is not acceptable. One or two days sure. It's almost 5 days of unplayability and locked servers.
Why?
