So I pay for the game (for those of you who say it isn't official launch, it is now) I can't play my character because servers are full and if for some insane reason I wanted to make another one I can not play on the NA/EU servers how is this ok?


Figured issues would finally be resolved or more servers added by now.

I was just coming to add my two cents about this same issue. I was defending Square Enix during the EA as I hadn't technically paid for the game but now that I am a paying customer and cannot play this is just ridiculous. Getting this world is full message without putting me in a que means I have to either a) sit and spam login, b) set up an auto mouse clicker like most other people I know that finally beat the world is full or c) go do something else. And lets face it...I don't want to do something else. I want to play the game I paid for.

yeah, getting a little tired of the white knights who ARE playing the game and defending SE. I like most others work a 9-5 job well (7-5 teacher for myself) and would like to sit down and relax and enjoy the product that we have "officially" paid for.

No one is saying this is okay. The DEVs are working to fix it. When they've found the solution then it'll be resolved. Simple as that.

I dont understand why an afk kick system hasnt been implemented. Several friends have been logged on even while they sleep and leave for work and are always still logged in even though they are not playing.

There is no personal character shop or reason to be able to sit online 24/7. Its ridiculous that afk'ers get to stop others from actively playing.

Most of the white knights on this forum are squatting on servers AFK and sitting high and mighty while others are struggling to get into a damn server.

There are a lot of fuck nuggets on the forum who think that people who pay for things are not entitled. It's like buying a new car, and not being able to drive it because it developed a fault and the dealership saying " oh but you're not entitled to have a car that works properly" or any purchased product for that matter.

Next time I buy something and It doesn't work when I try to get a refund I'll say I'm "selfish" and "entitled" when asking for my money back.

And just because it's a fucking game doesn't make it ok either.

Not a White Knight and not a Worst Game ever but, it's starting to get a little frustrating to know that due to my flex and split shift schedule there is literally no way I can get on to even play for a few hours. I've logged in more time playing Tales of Xillia then FF XIV and I just bought Xillia yesterday.

I just would really love some sort of post that isn't just the same cut and paste apology we've been getting since EA that actually has some substance that could make waiting actually worth it. I already had five friends decide not to buy the game because being medics they don't get a lot of time to themselves when "on call" so they saw these issues as a no sale for them.

If you go into an MMO launch expecting everything to be flawless you are playing the wrong genre. You CANNOT simulate the numbers that are hammering their servers. SE is working endlessly to get a fix for all the people stuck out in the cold yet they still complain. Whiteknite, fanboy, whathaveyous... The community is tired of seeing thoughtless posts filled with rage. Some of you all seem like adults.. act like one. If you're so upset with it go ahead and return the game. No one here will care fortunately. No one is stopping you from buying the game once all this is sorted out.

TLDR - It's launch week. Either deal with it and wait for it to get fixed (Next week guesstimate) or complain/refund/move along.
