Did you even read the post? I didn't defend SE at all. I simply criticized how the community is handing the situation.

Here is what TRULY baffles me. There were hiccups but the duty system and instances worked near flawlessly during Phase 4 and there was never any 1017 error or even a queue. How did we go from the mass of Phase 4 to a still large but certainly smaller number at launch but everything broke due to 'congestion'!?

Little did Yoshida know, it's his very own wishes that would ultimately destroy him.
His server fan's Curaga couldn't deal with the incessant DoT of multiple connections causing it to ultimately meltdown.
A tragic story, filled with tears, waifus and irony.
Bahamdwith: Could Not Connect
I don't think you know what white-knighting means. I think its becoming a buzzword. I think SE needs to get their shit together and fix the issues, before people new to MMOs lose confidence. I personally, however, can handle a few issues the first month since I'm used to it. White-Knighting is when someone acts like their the person protecting [insert entity/person] from all of the people bad-mouthing it. As you can see, I'm not white-knighting. I'm simply annoyed with how little actual discussion happens on these boards.
I unforunately can't get on at the moment either and hopefully that will be fixed soon seeing as the game is out now. O__O However, I've been able to play about 30% of the time during early access and there was always a ton of people on. There's plenty to discuss. In fact, we can discuss our feelings about the errors. If you see my first post you'll notice that I actually encourage people to talk about the errors as long as its in general discussion and they're actually discussing. My issue with the current state of things is that nobody allows real discussion. One person posts congratulating the game's release and every reply is about login issues. Keep that to its own thread which already exists. Besides, the jokes have already been overdone and its only been two days.
Half the people who bought the game can't play it, not sure what else you'd expect them to discuss.Quote:

Not half. Considering every server is still full of people, I guarantee its nowhere near half. Whenever I did get on, it was completely full. I simply think if people are discussing errors, they need to keep it in the correct threads. Having so many posts about the same errors is clogging up the forums. There are people trying to have discussion, but all the people who can't stop whining go into those threads and piss on everyone's parade by constantly talking about their errors rather than what the thread is supposed to be about.
