My boyfriend and I are playing together. Or we're trying to, since so far I was getting errors when he was able to play and once I was able to log in, he got locked out of the server, lol.
We'll see if we can finally play together after this maintenance ends. Fifth one is a charm?
so far we did one dungeon together, and it was really fun. Our desks are next to each other too, so we can communicate quickly.

My girlfriend and I are playing on her account for Early Access since she will be playing on the Ps3 and I will be on my account on my PC at full release. It's definitely going to be an adventure :D This is her first MMO and real gaming experience actually other than err...The Sims? I've already had 27 "wtf how do you not know what that means!?" moments. 27 down, 999,983 to go lol.... ........ .... ...... :(

My wife and I are both going to be playing, but she didn't pre-order so she has to wait until Tuesday! :p She's terrified of groups, so I don't know how she's going to get past the storyline dungeons. I'll probably make sure she's a DD and talk her through it as I tank. She's really not all that good at mmos, she played WoW for a bit as a warlock. I looked over one day and she was wanding mobs down at level 50something, didn't even have any abilities on her hotbar! :D She's a wiz at Sims 3 though!

We've met in 1.0 not long after launch and it took half a year to get together. We got Legacy together, did everything together and it was the best time ever. Eorzea was our special place. We had many plans for the real future, for ARR, buying us a nice home and picking up our stories. But for reasons that are beyond my understanding, a few days ago it suddenly ended. I considered my better half the love of my life and it feels like I can't play ARR anymore. I have abandoned my Legacy character and made others, but everything reminds me and nothing is fun anymore without my beloved one.
I know this is supposed to be a happy thread, but this kinda stuff happens and sometimes games affect our lives so much. So if problems occur, be open and give each other time before dropping everything just like that. Love is the most precious and delicate thing we have. It should be taken care of as best as possible. I wish you lovers all the best, great adventures and a bright future.

I met my now wife in FFXI many moons ago. We are now undertaking ARR together, same server. Me enroute to Paladin and her to Bard. I am currently building a dual TV entertainment section so we can play on our PS3s in the same room together, cuddling on the couch. Until then, I play in the bedroom and her in the living room.

My girlfriend and I play. She gets the comfy couch, the good PC and a 55" TV. I get the mediocre PC, hard wood chair, and a 32" monitor

My gf of 4 years and I are playing together:). Honestly it's something I've been looking forward to for more than a year. She's the hardcore gamer, whereas I'm the casual, so I'm excited to do something together that we'll both be dedicated to. We'll eventually be a Paladin (her) and Bard (me) combo!
If you see her, Meneil Kazume, or Akashi Mousai, say hi =)

Yay, nice to see so many couples playing :)
My husband and I play together, both of us lounging in bed with our laptops. We met in FFXI, and continue to play that together. For a long time, we dreamed of shared housing for married couples. With ARR we were finally able to make that happen. I created 2 mules on our server so we could form our own Free Company. I can't wait to buy a house together and start crafting the furniture!
It's so nice to be able to drop items in a communal storage chest. He drops off what he gathers so I can craft it, and I can drop off crafted items into the chest for him to use.
I'm leveling gladiator this time around. My only level 50 is mnk and I need to learn how that job works now. But he's leveled whm, so we too can easily form a party for dungeons. It also helps to know that he's the one responsible for healing me, makes me feel much more at ease in dungeon settings. I'm the more casual of the two of us, and have to admit that the fast paced combat really stresses me in first time dungeons. Knowing he's there to back me up makes it so much easier.
It's nice to see other gamer couples who enjoy their time together :D

I've been playing with my girlfriend when we can. It's sort of difficult for us because I tend to grind and level up a lot faster than she does. But that's one of the benefits of this game. We can always play different classes or I can level sync with her for dungeons. It's also great because this is yet another game where I'm mainly a tank and she heals.
