You may also want to just try some local stores to see if you can get your hands on an extra CE copy. You can always grab a PS3 CE so you have the option to play on there if you ever want to :P

i preorder my game, and got a early acess code. It also came with the registration code. if you are able to download the game, and play. i dont see why you would need the CD. or am i lost lol?
Yea this is a known problem with how Digital River handles online orders and not the only problem they have. I am surprised people still don't do research about it when ordering through them.
They wanted the physical CE for all the physical goodies. They could probably care less about the actual game CD.
Wasn't Digital River the one's who dropped the ball with the Ni No Kuni CE's as well?
Yes digital river handles capcom, square enix, namco....and probably more online stores. Whenever I order from a publishers website I always check to see who handles the orders. If its digital river I tend to stay away from it and try elsewhere.
I was part of the namco fiasco and was lucky to get my game. I only did it because you couldn't get it from anywhere else in the US. It was my third and final time for dealing with digital river. I gave them their chances and I got slapped in the face each time.
I think the amazon one you are thinking of was with project x zone...where some of the 1st prints weren't limited editions or something. I'm not too sure since I didn't really follow that game.
Digital River disabled one of my games as a result of asking about activation limits. Bought it direct from Atari because I couldn't find another option, and.. when I realized there was an online activation, I called to ask. Dude was a jerk on the phone "You'll have to buy another copy and it won't affect you unless you're stealing it," then disabled my key I bought as a result. Couldn't get a refund or anything either because DR wouldn't talk to me. I hate.. HATE that SE is doing business with these ****ers.
I didn't think a company could do even something like that. I'm surprised that the company did this to you. What you should do is call Digital River back Monday and tell the person on the phone that you wish to talk to their manager of the company. Telling them what happened and that you paid for it back on June 25th and were ensured a copy only to be denied. I'm pretty sure they will give you a discount or something. A company that does this is very bad business and if anything tell them you actually have the right to contact the BBB(Better Business Bureau) due to what they have done to you it can result bad things XD
