Hello rp'ers. Hope to run across a few of you sometime during EA and throughout the rest of the game after launch.
I'm sorry to say I didn't have the fortitude to stick with XIV when it was first released, but I'm so happy with how it's evolved. I'm looking forward to meeting the role playing community and joining in the fun. ^.^

I'm not a role player myself but some times I enjoy sitting near a RP group and watch them do their stuff. It just makes the world seem more real

And from my short experience in P4, can't say Balmung was much different from other worlds I visited, apart from the occasional group of friends that were /saying something that sounds like a scripted sequence right out of the game.
Can't wait to join the fun!
Does anyone else try to maintain character outside of 'official' role-play events, or is it just me? Lol.
I usually try to keep my communication in-character unless theres an emergency (or something comes up related to game mechanics). Any thoughts?
