Depends on which plan you're on though. Only Legacy and Standard get 8 slots per server, so if you're on Entry plan, you won't be able to have more than one character per server.

I'm sure Square could make a decent looking male viera. I'd love to see them in game and I don't approve of gender locked races. It's no worse than miqote males, they made them look okay.

Personally, I don't really like viera, male or female, or rather the "bunny" image cause it's mostly associated with what bunnies are best at.... *cough*

Like Vieras or not, he does have a point that they would just be another antropomorphic race with slight animal features. We already have one of those and a race with more variety would be more interesting IMO.

I'd really really REALLY like to see Qiqirn become a player race :c They are SO adorabubble! Plus we've seen them integrated somewhat into the populace already, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch!

I guess. I'm not a fan of Qirin but I do agree that if they were to put in a new race they should go BALLS OUT. I don't want any more humanoids, I understand it's a pain in the ass to adapt all the gear to new models but having a race that just looks totally different would be much cooler than more humans with animal bits in varying heights.

I agree with Yoshi-P that we already have a Viera like race. Their called Miqo'tes. I'd much prefer a more unique design.

Would anyone actually play as a lizard person? I know I wouldn't. I normally always go for human though.

Okay, but wouldn't the reptilian race just be the same except for scales instead of fur? I mean, he did say he was concerned about having the playable races look like mobs, so one would expect that they'd be either humanoid or near-human.
