Racial Stat Bonuses only cause people to be excluded for wanting to play a Non-Optimal Race.
its not an attitude its fact 1 dmg is less then 2 dmg. people are that picky and if its so minute why bother.
nothing wrong with it but if you guys lose a fight you'l be first to be blamedQuote:
Ok, so taking it from your PoV and saying it's next to know difference...
Then why the frick would you even care for such a "tiny" bonus? It's a waste of time.
Don't we have it already since last beta?
*looking at the starter stats for each race and tribe*
For fun I wouldnt mind seeing an exagerated starting stats that are diminished over time through counter balancing stat bonuses per level.
IE taru starts with 10 more int, noticeable power difference. But at max level the other classes gained more int per level then taru so now the difference is like 1, or 0 (or .5%, 0%).
Still in the end all it would mean is a temporary added immersive aspect (races mean something).
Keeping it relevant and end level is a bad idea as it punishes players long term, while the system itself taunts them at their choice (You can be a BLM galka. .. . but you are going to suck so bad at it ahahahahah), lol
because of materia and gear peoples stats are already very different. I could easily take 5 points off everyone of my stats on every job and still do endgame with my LS. If i die on blm i lose sanction from my hat, i then switch to my militia hat which has 20 less intelligence (which isnt often) and it has very little effect. I dont even know why im arguing with you people because it seems you know nothing about stats in this game.
Then why make this thread in the first place ? on your first comment you mention just a 2% difference ..do you think SE will bother with just a 2% difference? if they do it, will have to be radical like FFXI where Taru full merited INT at 99 has like 30 more INT than an Elvaan
FYI the way stats are will be changing in 2.0... so until you see how the stats work in 2.0 you can't really base it off 1.x stats...
Though really I don't ever see a reason for this... what is the point of the different stats? If it really changes nothing at all why even have them in the game? I'm trying to see the reason behind this but I can not as it will not make playing a different race really different at all from how it is now... Please explain in full detail why you really want this?
