Question for DEV Servers in ARR?

New players can move to our servers. I just hope that we can change during beta so when you tell your friends what server you are on its not "I dont know yet".

If everything looks right... I believe they said that at launch we will not be able to transfer to new servers... even if they are regional or not..

What we have to do is wait the few months till they open server transfer and then when that happens is when we can choice what server we want to go to...

Wait... I remember this differently. I remember it being said we'd all get to move our characters to any server we wanted to (MINUS THE NEW PLAYER SERVERS [which we will only be able to transfer to after they establish economies]) but we will have regional servers available for us that our friends who are just starting CAN join.

I am currently on Excalibur.

If Excalibur remains in Japan, they will most likely allow me to change to an "Existing World" (in name only) that has been relocated to NA.

That sounds like we can switch servers twice?

I know if we create a NEW character we can put that guy wherever we want, even a new server. Its our leveled guys that are being held back a grade lol.

Since we're talking about the servers here can we get an update on something Yoshi-P said awhile back? In an interview when he was asked about the roleplaying community he mentioned he wanted to add in a RP server at the launch of ARR. Will this still happen or will there be a designated server after all for RPers? If so, could you tell us if it would be just a single server or if there might be one for each region? Thank you~
