October is gil-grinding month

I got my self back up to around 10m a couple weeks ago. Will probably start serious gill making efforts again after the start of next.

Wow i was able to finaly get to 1million gil doing leves ...now ill end up at 100k gil ... and we totaly dont know how much are the field to buy ....im sure ill be able to only get small one and dont know if we can upgrade the field for medium after or i need to try to find a bigger if available ...

I guess the RMTs are in the right with all the gil-grinding they do >_< I only have 2.3M. I don't want to be as poor as I am on FFXI with 200K...

Most gil I've ever had in this game is like 12 mil. @10 mil now.

gil is not being taken away, it's being scaled, along with all vendor prices, gil given, and gil taken... it's called redenomination. learn it, it's been done many times throughout world history, you don't lose money, you only change the numbers you're working with.

The whole reason they're doing this is because the only item that really ever buys for <10 gil is arrows, and arrows are being removed from the game. Therefore, all gil numbers really have an extra digit for no real reason- Since it's easier to work with smaller numbers than bigger ones, that's why they went ahead with it.

I can't complain, my friends are starting after 2.0 and atm from my leveling ect. i have earned about 3.5mil so that'll make my counter 350k, since we are all starting with new chars from day 1, i see it as a headstart...

I am however farming some mats so when i get my new char i can spend some time grinding up some crafts instead off doing it with levequests ;) .

i wouldn't complain about it guys, plenty off new people will start with 0gil anyway, in my eyes they just try too pull it down fair for everyone ;) though i do get why people are upset that while they have 10mil now and prob. worked for it for a long time.

No they won't. This will all be ironed out in the first few days of the beta where we get to use our characters. People will realise their stuff isn't selling and are getting undercut by 80-90% and stop "charging high as fk".
