Therefore, you are not losing gil. Why does everyone keep acting like their money is literally being taken away? That is not what's happening. It's being *SCALED* . This happens in real life all the time, and people's money isn't taken away- they trade in X number of old units for Y number of new units. Why doesn't anyone seem to understand how this works? Your money will have approximately (due to variations in market forces) the same value as before. Only the number of units is changed. I have to wonder if people are being ignorant on purpose. -
