Double post...........
Sorry some pretty dreary math last night. I blame the bad hotel and zero minutes of sleep.
1000/15 = 66.66 batches
16 crystals per cycle [1 hour] = 4000 seals = 4 turn ins [just using this as a baseline, may be lower or higher]
66.66 batches x 10 drops x 4 turn ins x 125 [price] = 333300 gil per hour
333,300 gil per hour x 10 hours = 3.33 million gil per day
21 million gil a week.
It's too much money.
I have to kind of agree with you and other people in this topic about the people that are just amassing gil. The people that the gil is going to in the long run are the ones that basically just collect it. For every 60 people that are making a mil a day for this event theres one person that has like 500 mil thats just sitting there. On an unrelated note, the thing i think is odd about this event, and the REAL reason that all this money is coming into the system is the fact that you can check the stones multiple times, which is kind of baffling to me. They should have made it so you can only check the stone once per kill, kept the clusters in and removed the gravity effect so theres a chance of getting anima, getting 5-7 crystals, a cluster, or flee when you check on the stone meaning youd get one chance at a decent award for every atomos kill.
Yes but you making 1.5 million gil on the Market Wards isn't the same thing at all. That's just gil that's getting transfered between people and the gil has no real effect on the economy as a whole. When millions of gil are coming out of nowhere (NPCing things by the thousands) that's a real problem. That's a huge amount of gil that's being introduced into the system all at once and will definitely cause an inflation, its severity dependant on how much this is actually being done. They should have made the stuff unNPCable or increased the price of the items in seals, if they did that even slightly it'd have been better than what could be a major inflation.
the thing that makes it insane gil/hr is the fact that for 45-50 minutes per every hour you can spend gathering/crafting/sbing and then for 10-15 minutes click on a rock for amazing ... say... gil per minute.
me thinks SE screwed up again
how to make a bad game worse ask SE
I don't get it..how are people making gil out of it? Blood/Danw drops? What the hell is that lol?
