That's pretty much the idea of that part. Damage her to 65% > stop > wait for jump/plumes > try to drop her to under 40% (or is it 35?) to avoid the 2nd phase.

I can't tell during the last phase, but did they bypass the clones and continue burning Garuda?

Well not so much bypassed as simply ignored lol. Looks like the tank held all 3 while everyone else just killed Garuda.

It's actually not too different from my shells setup, the only difference is we have a DRG or MNK instead of a 4th BLM and we don't try to straight zerg her down after Ariel Blast we take out one round in Phase 3 then zerg her the final length of the fight.

You knock her down to 65% and wait till she does her next warp and summons plumes. It's a delay tactic people use to draw out the amount of time they have to nuke her down before she uses Ariel Blast and hopefully skip Phase 2 in the process, because no matter what she won't warp/prep Ariel Blast until her current Plume cycle has finished.

Probably does what I tend to do, just flash the entire bunch, use Hallowed Ground, Cover WHM, and Throw out Riot Blade at the first opportunity I get to let the BLM's nuke harder. (And yes Riot Blade does bring down Magic Defense as well, though it's not listed)

with an extra blm you still take 90 seconds longer than other LSs using only three. 'burn' indeed. and i hate to break it to you, but you're definitely not the "first to attempt"...

Is it impossible for people to upload a video to youtube without annoying/terribly overused and/or overrated music?

Anyone know what the DPS meter or w/e it was is?

Isn't the "stall at 65% and skip phase 2" pretty much the norm now? This isn't new, at any rate.
