If they take WHM back to being a real healer and buff job, I’m all in but if it goes dps focused, I’m out. This is the only job I play and if they make a mess of it, it’s game over. As to the dps it does, I don’t want a rotation, leave that to the dps jobs. As it is now, I’m too busy healing to worry about dps. I like its simple dps setup as I don’t like complex dps tasks.

These are my opinions and feelings and are not intended to represent anybody else. I’ll gladly agree to disagree with anybody who has a different opinion.

FF7 themes seems unlikely unless they break from their usual formula of laying the roots of an expansion during the patch cycle of the expansion before the last. 6.x seemed to lay the roots for a Meracydia expansion, which would much more likely have FF6 and possibly FF10 themes given what we know about the place.

if Meracydia is doing the whole desolate landscape, could also be FF13? Maybe like having a sole city as the safeguard and everything else is kind of a mutated mess.

the 6.x post patches set up for a new shard not meracydia, and with us getting the shard merger this expansion and the current direction of this post expansion it also pointing us to a new shard.
