Yeah, if it's something the game can confirm by itself I'm all for it, but stuff like soft targets could lead to a lot of trouble. I think it would still be worth adding for specific targets such as duty completion, crafters/gatherers for hire, etc.

Ah, Yeah, the "Teach me how to play XXX" was more of just a filler idea. The primary reasons for this would be anything that could be auto-completed with a Duty Completion, or Quest Completion. However, to erase the prospect of the Quest requirements being fulfilled, but not being turned in by the requesting person as a means to try and circumvent the system, I would suggest it being tied to Quest/Duty requirements being fulfilled. Not by the Completion trigger. When a quest requirement turns to a Green checkmark is a good example.

I work in cybersecurity and am cautious by nature. I aim to look at all of the ways someone could take advantage of something like this so as to help snuff out those "vulnerabilities" and make it as desirable as possible.

I think the quest giver is the one to rate if the quest is complete or not. Just like Uber Delivery.
Maybe in this system we gotta need a 5 star ratings as well

There are too many ways for the requester to skirt the system and give poor ratings in an attempt to get their Gil back. It would be best to have it decided via an automated means that is not controlled by the Requester or the Contractor. Instead, having it trigger based on Quest requirement fulfillment or on Duty Completion, based on the requested service, would force impartiality within the system.

With us gearing toward the next updates, I'd like to bring this back into view. I've come across many who have voiced an interest in this sort of thing. I will continue to operate my FC as such, but a more formal means would certainly be awesome.

This sounds fun from a RP perspective too ^^ No idea how it'd be implemented but it's fun to just speculate. Could have a reputation system as well with players, etc. It would be really cool if players could like...create their own cosmetics/mounts through unlockables that would be obtained by their own higher end content (ex: high end PVErs unlock features of a mount they design they can then give as reputation rewards for people who quest for them. Perhaps quest-only potions or something? Then, crafters who craft really complex stuff do the same, or gatherers, who then hire PvErs or anyone else doing content to get quest-only mats from the content they prefer to make some unique stuff).

It's super late and I'm sure there's a much better way to explain this, but yeah, I think something like that would be super complex but still mighty fun. It'd need to be regulated by SE of course, etc, but designing your own mounts with stuff that's given/unlocked by content you do that then you could give as rewards (your own design) to other players questing for you could be really neat.

Of course, that could lead to gatekeeping and other stuff, so I think it'd need to be not as restricted/not like 'I designed this and thus no one else can make the same thing to give as a reward' so yeah. Again, not sure how it'd work but it could be fun.
