DRK has an odachi (Odenta Kai), PLD got Lightning’s gunblade, and WAR has a couple hammers. Dancer finally got fans this expansion. So there’s some flexibility.

Don't forget that the Paladin got a Mace (Susano Weapon).

It could've been real, had Viper released just one expansion earlier.

More likely a wakizashi or kodachi, but I'd be surprised if they don't get some kind of Japanese-style sword eventually. I mean, they already have shamshirs, khopesh, and a bunch more that I can't remember the names of right now.

I mean, Zidane did have a weapon like that; Masamune, so it isn't out of the realms of possibilities.
