You ever played the OG FF games? Every boss is a wall boss. The only difference here is that we can move around. Done well, wall bosses are very good from a story telling perspective. And this is a game where story is the priority.

If RPG's have "wallbosses" doesn't mean that a MMO should, you think we should have 24-man's with turnbased fights too? If we're getting into this rabbit hole, why have graphics either, why not go full pixel MMO because the "story is the priority".
Lets not pretend that they don't think about gameplay as uninnovative as the gameplay itself is compared to other MMO's
Wall bosses don't bother me, but can we stop with the "boss flails weakly while we poke away the last of their help" final phases?
