the PLL was just as expected. PVP has a chance to bridge me over until 7.2 happens. Without PVP though, the only "repeatable" content I see there is Chaotic Alliance Raid, which has potential to be good, though if it actually is remains to be seen.

To be honest, I have extraordinarily low expectations for 7.1 - 7.3. All that is probably pretty much already written and set in stone, so please look forward to it I guess. CBU3 is glacially slow when it comes to changing direction, which is why all I hoping for was an acknowledgement that things didn't go to plan so things could improve before 8.0.
I'm still gonna hold out till 7.1 just because I have a house and I do generally enjoy Alliance Raids, but I can't see how a raid that drops 1 piece of loot per week and will be blown out completely by week 3 can keep casual players entertained for 4-5 months.
10/10
Cant wait to do EX3, 24 man COD savage and FRU :p
Dawntrail released on 2nd July.
So 4 month would be around 2nd November. But they said 'mid November'. So it's also again more than 4 month, and then again with no fun stuff to do, for the majority of people, until maybe next year spring. (At the moment it seems like it)
I really don't understand what is going on here. Can they be so much out of touch? Or do they want to kill the game, and then say: Hey forget about all your progress and come into our new MMO, or whatever. Idk :c
There's a good amount of people looking for something akin to Bozja content. Not exactly Extreme-content difficulty, but definitely not Savage level due to the sheer number of players and adjustable ease through Lost Actions / lenient enrage or lackthereof.
With FRU and Chaotic Alliance Raids, they certainly fulfilled high-end hardcore raiders and midcore raiders. Doubly so for midcore raiders with the Unreal and Extreme to fall back on as well. Casual content seems pretty dead for longevity though. It's either Dungeon, PvP, Alliance Raid, or Mahjong.
I don't think 1 dungeon + 1 alliance raid + PvP series will last past a month or 2, give or take. PvP is probably the last option, and only if the changes to PvP are good enough to spice things up for more than an entire patch to keep it feeling fresh. Maybe I missed something and I glossed over them mentioning relics or cosmic exploration?
Mmmm...waiting for a 24 man 'extreme' group to fill....
What were they thinking actually?
Totally out of touch. Instead of doing content for the population they wish to have, they should do content for the population they do have. I swear to god, the only reason they still have a playerbase is the lack of other options in the range of story driven mmo (with a decent playerbase).
