is also not part of the city Ul'dah although you see that concept art, when clicking on ul'dah.
its an outpost in the region of ul'dah. but not part of the city.

You can see how Uldah will be destroyed in the Trailer btw.

^ Ok I agree, I replied before your post got posted, but it seems like you're right, it's probably the region of Uldah. But I also agree to the poster above you that that ruins look like THM guild in Uldah.

Yeah.. since the Trailer is left in rubble.. it wouldn't make any since to have it look like pretty roses :P In-game.

we have seen some concept arts of Gridania long time ago where you can see that gridania will fully re-designed. i cant find it anymore unfortunatley.

i doubt that the main cities will look like before.

oh well i found at least some..

Yoshi stated allready that they wont change the Main-Cities really much. ( With that Concept-Art under Uldah im not sure anymore ), but the Concept-Art you have in your mind are actually Outposts and a Chocobo-Farm, not the City itself.

at the left upper corner you can see that the houses are mainly built on water. like windurst in FFXI.

He said they wouldn't change much but he never said they wouldn't change at all. If a giant meteor fell on one half of the city then the other half should still be the same as far as the layout goes. He also said the 3 cities would be easier to get around so maybe this is how they plan to consolidate everything in Ul'dah.

well i think that the last picture for example that i've posted shows the big tree in gridania which got destroyed. see the remains of the bark which are ordered in a round circle?

Well anyways i think they will change enough concerning the cities. they know that gridania and limsa havent been very popular in the actual version.
