Yes, some JP players also ask for the animation lock of the remaining jumps to be reduced.
Winged Glide should have a jump-like animation and a lower cooldown of 30s or at the very least 45s. 60s is just a carryover from Spineshatter that they never bothered to fix.
This has been said for years now and usually when people say impact they mean potency. I wish Stardiver's potency was 900 and not Starcross considering the former is a single-weave. It should feel strong because of this.
Anyway, I disagree jumps lack power. They are oGCDs so logically they have less potency as otherwise, we'd have to be nerfed. And whether we like it or not, DRG is a WAR clone now, which has the positive effect of making our 1-minute bursts almost as strong as our 2-minute ones.
We deal almost 40% more damage for 20s every minute, which makes Starcross deal almost 1.3k potency on its own. A combination of Starcross, another strong oGCD like Wyrmwind Thrust or Rise of the Dragon and one of the higher potency GCDs deals more damage than a NIN's Hyosho.
What DRG needs right now is an actual filler and an actual gauge. Making Mirage Dive grant one scale and doing AoE damage would fix it and help a bit with that, although we'd still need something more.
