Gunbreaker Bloodfest should grant three free uses instead of three carts

Bloodfest is kinda clunky at 100. Before you wanted to go into a later bursts with full gauge and bloodfest lined up for it. After 100, it's kinda the opposite and you want to be empty. It can be done with a full gauge but you don't gain anything for refilling your cartridges mid combo over doing it at the start. It's just a different way you have to approach it than you have been taught.

doesnt that mean you want a full gauge at odd minutes and empty at even minutes in a fight? thats so weird.

You don't have to spend all your ammos, it's up to you to be creative and start your next burst with 3 cartridges.
There's no situation where you exit a burst window and absolutely can't generate 3 cartridges.

You can definitely approach it that way. Dunno but I kinda am wondering why attach it to bloodfest and not just attach the lionheart combo to No Mercy. Makes the job feel a bit more consistent. It also kinda feels boring to look at as you are playing 6.0 GNB every other re-opener minus the gap closer while WAR gets its modified shiney opener ever inner release. I think unattaching it from bloodfest would provide more flexibility especially for downtime and rotation outside of the one minute burst.

They could but going to have to half the potency of each hit, if it's going to be every minute instead of every 2 minutes, then it means you never want to use Bloodfest in your burst after the opener, unless you are already going in empty or after downtime, and don't have enough for both Gnashing and Double Down.

No mercy is the every minute, Bloodfest is the every 2 minutes.
Having something less often in the rotation allows it to get big potency.

Also, having it on every minute window would make GNB burst exactly the same every minute, we would end with another copy of WAR.
