If You Could Change One Thing (Graphical Update)

I would second the lips.

I don't dislike them but the change to these across the board is very apparent, and they're almost different characters.

They've altered the rigging on the mouths, absolutely. Lessening the vertices involved is most likely to avoid issues with the aim for more expression overall... I do hope they can find a happy middle-ground. I worry that the extremity of the alteration may hint at an inflexibility to do so, however.

for me the lips are completely different. completely different shapes and it makes the characters look younger

If I have to only pick one I'd definitely fix the lips. Lips are across the board looking pretty terrible at the moment.

I have a loose theory regarding our color options that may help with the muddiness!

Have you fiddled with making a femme Hrothgar at all? The color palette for their base coloring has a massively improved range of tones and shades. If they implement that style of palette for everything???

Worried about that as well, but on the other hand there seem to be so many issues across the board (fem elezen mouths for one, also fem viera and the botox lips) that maybe this is something they'll consider reverting. I don't think I've seen anybody who's happy with the mouths.

The skin doesn't look that bad to me in the actual benchmark. I wish we could just have our characters standing around in the actual game lighting instead of the character creation.

Every race needs another pass to address the lip disparity between DT and EW.

If that doesn't count as "one thing" since it's technically all of them, I'll vote for slightly stronger AO on the models. There's a lot of skin creases and borders where one part of the body occludes another that has a problem with the two surfaces blending in with eachother when there should be some shadows. (lips, eyelid creases, nostrils)
