The Dunning-Kruger effect occurs when a person's lack of knowledge and skill in a certain area causes them to overestimate their own competence. By contrast, this effect also drives those who excel in a given area to think the task is simple for everyone, leading them to underestimate their abilities.
This reminds me of way back when Shadowbringers was just a few months in. Was running Dohn Mehg on random and got a group that apparently queued together. The tank blatantly refused to turn on tank stance, and both him and his buddies got mad when I refused to move any further until he did. They demanded I leave the dungeon since it was still within time that they couldn't kick, and I refused that as well. I did warn them that I was screenshoting everything they said and was reporting it if they didn't clean up their act. They finally got the kick vote available and kicked me. Needless to say, I reported.
Got to love groups out there trying to turn their healer into the tank.
