I’d like to the ShB Shoha accumulation come back where the Tsubame-gaeshi actions actions let you get Shoha stacks. If I can’t get Kaiten at least let me get more Shoha
Make Kaeshi:Hinganbana AoE we can at least use it
Also Ogi-Namikiri does have to be a separate button from Ikishoten

- [ ] Tenka goken and Fuko are cones
- [ ] Shoha and Shoha II are merged.

- [ ] Third eye has a sound effect when it is consumed. Consuming third eye grants a meditation stack.
- [ ] Yukikaze cleaves and grants a meditation stack.

- [ ] Every six meditation stacks you consume grants a use of ogi namikiri.
- [ ] Kaeshi higanbana now applies a 20 second high potency DoT to all enemies in a cone before you. -

SAM plays and feels pretty good ATM but I would like medidate changed...perhaps it grants you 3 stacks of meditation on a cool down. I would also like an aoe higanbana. Someone above mentioned making kaeshi: higanbana an aoe and I completely agree. I would also like a change to the 1,2,3 1,2,3 1,2 changed....it's a lot of gcds just for a midare and a lot of the time it just feels like a slog. I would be happy with 1,2 1,2 1,2. Who doesn't constantly have Mekio on CD? This change would also allow us to allocate buttons a bit better (speaking from a console pov).

On a serious note... EW Samurai is balance-wise okay ( or good enough for JP players to not complain about DPS decimals missing, again... ) Many who complain about Samurai's button Bloat? are often once that won't even play the Job more after Hissatsu: Kaiten was removed and the statistics shows that. They might not play it more? but hey at least they get to be happy. To appeal to this crowd's Wishlist? Compress/Fuse the following skills:- Guren / Senei
- Ikishoten / Ogi Namikiri
- Shoha / Shoha II
- Shinten / Kyuten ( if you really have to )
QOL changes that could be done regardless of button compression:- Meditate refreshes ( not generate ) Fugetsu and Fuga buff
- Shoha has no Cooldown
- Guren radius and reach is slightly increased
My personal Wishlist though vs what I believe people say they want?- I want Hissatsu: Kaiten Back
What I really mean by saying this? Is that I want Samurai to have an inch or an ilm more depth then the shallowness that is Shinten/Kyuten. Any amount of (optional) depth to any Job? can be applied to any PvE activity in & outside of serious raiding. The monotonous Casual content that makes up 95% of our Game was a lot more Fun with a more engaging gauge management. Necessary Execution? No. Is it Fun? To me yeah. I have no Faith in Square removing anything and replacing it with more Depth. They have no track record of doing so during the time I played. Square can keep the Skill-Floor beneath the Earth's Crust for all I care, I just want players who desire optional Skill-Ceiling to be able to savour that for 7.0 DT+ and the easiest way to do that is to bring back something that exactly did that i.e " Bring back Hissatsu: Kaiten "
Now will any of the above happen? Probably not. I have so little faith, I am prepared to expect the following horrible changes:- Iaijutsu no longer has a cast time
- Shoha III is added
- Enhanced Gyoten
- Ogi Namikiri becomes a Circular Shaped Slash
- Hagakure removed
- Meditate removed
- Higanbana dot removed
- Positionals removed
- Third Eye removed

I think Shoha is fine, I mean for every 3rd Iaijutsu/Ogi you get to decide single target or AoE, which is a part of being one with the battlefieldQuote:

No My 7.0 SAM Change Expectations:- Single Target Ogi, thus completing the Ogi Resource
- Gyoten/Yaten Trait that removes their Kenki Cost (.. wait I already wrote that...)
- Return of Kaiten! (as long as it costs 20 kenki max and boosts the following Weaponskill, we're good!)
we're in deep trouble if the Blue Buff of Viper boosts the following Weaponskill!
but if Kaiten does not return that means that we have to spam Shinten for 2 to 3 more years ._. -

No need for filler GCD's and having to decide a perfect skill speed.
Currently at 3 GCD filler during my odd minute bursts and it seems clunky to do it this way.
Maybe it's a hold over from kaiten being removed? As maybe it filled that spot?
I'm kind of new to SAM but I think it's the only DPS that sort of clicked right away with me, and putting the work in to really understand the opener, cooldown, 1 min and 2 min bursts.
Reminds me of old SMN in a way. Which could also be a bad thing since they gutted old SMN for that reason....you die and you're pretty much disjointed from your rotation. -

- Kaiten is brought back and as an effect also makes the next Weaponskill a guaranteed critical hit
- Consolidate Tsubame and Iaijutsu onto the same button
- Consolidate Ikishoten and Namikiri onto the same button
- Make Enpi only increase Kenki by 5 unless it's being used under Enhanced Enpi, in which case it still gives 10
- Make Third Eye give a single Meditation stack instead of 10 Kenki. Or bring back Seigan and make it show up on Third Eye's button when you get hit. Or both.
- Remove the Meditation stack given by Ogi Namikiri to balance Meditation gain
