The look of it in the main trailer is perfect! The gameplay they showed doesn’t even look like the same job. lol As I’ve said elsewhere, I know the cgi trailer is always different, and usually I hate how things (and characters!) look in the trailer. But for me this was the rare time that the trailer far outshined the in-game footage, and I’m hoping for a bit more polish before the final release. Still going to play it no matter what, but want it to be the best it can be.

i havent seen much hate on pictomancer except for here its the same with viper, course with so many players you are bound to see plenty of hate on anything honestly.

i feel overall i haven't heard anything players haven't said was bad about the game, but when it comes to peoples opinions you will hear just about anything.

We still dont know how the job feels and plays fully. I understand first impressions but its unrational to fully judge something until we actually know what it is.

but dood all she does in the trail is paint some butterflies. like how can u say the job looks bad when krile only does like 1 thing with it

honestly, the trailer bit looks like what it's Limit Break is going to be.

I’m mainly referring to the quality of the paint… in the trailer, it seems infused with light and sparkles/particle effects, which is what I would want from a job that’s painting with aether/magic. The job trailer paint looks very flat and chalky. There’s no magic to it, and it doesn’t even look like real paint, let alone magical paint. As others have said, if you look at the animations of other jobs, it seems very out of place. And as an artist in real life, parts of it look look someone just dribbled with MS Paint over the game screen.

The nostalgia of Relm may be the source of my love for the job, but I’m not looking there for what I want the job effects to look like. The cgi trailer was wow! The gameplay trailer was, is this the same job? lol
