Do you mean to propose a single DoT that can stack twice?
[Clever Damage Over Time Attack Name]

This would do exactly what the combination of Lv90 Caustic Bite, Storm Bite, and Iron Jaws currently do (when executed correctly, from the first reapplication using Iron Jaws), but with one button. There would be a very minor difference in multi-target scenarios by not being able to choose between 150+20p/tick or 100+25p/tick when single-DoTing trash or adds but it wouldn't be important.
As they are currently, there's no meaningful dynamic snapshotting opportunities. 2 dots but actually just 1 in practice because you can refresh both at once. They don't interact with anything like they used to... What's even the point? Just babysitting a timer?
I don't think BRD losing dots would be a big loss for me if they got something more interesting to play with instead - it would be 3 vacant keys, 2 dots and Iron Jaws, lot of room to think of something.
That or rework them to be actually engaging.
Sounds like DNC to me, but with a few different timers to manage instead of 1.
the bards went from 3/4 dps to last and they keep guting it and makeing it weaker i say leave it alone
I don't think they should remove dots, what they *should* do is give BRD a Bane-type ability to spread the dots across a pack of mobs so they aren't useless except against bosses.
I don't mind the return of the interaction of dots with gaining repertoire for as long as there's a good synergy across all the BRD's toolkit.
To me, dots won't be missed if they're replaced with something new that is actually engaging and more relatable to the rest of the kit.
Currently no job has any good dot. They're all just simple babysitting timers. And it's wild because BRD dots actually had some meaningful function with the procs.
