It's really funny to me that the competitive team mode they're trying to push is forced solo queue. They should allow teams for CC and force solo queue for frontlines.

The only thing I don’t like about PvP is how Yoshi P said the feast was too much pressure on healers and now everyone has heals so healer won’t be targeted too much and you guessed it! We still are lol. It doesn’t matter if everyone has heals. In PvP if you’re green then everyone is just mean.
If healers are still target number 1 then just give us more heals please. Or another charge of our heals that we already have please thank you.
It needed a change truth be told. Too many people complaining about how they can't kill healers in a 1v5 in frontlines. Too much reliance on the healers to keep them alive. I didn't feel like hearing about it this expansion.
I...won't comment on feast. I still need a salt cleanser there.
I kinda agree on CC. Purify should give you a few seconds of invulnerability to other CC.
Much on the frustration on pvp is more on player mentality than the mode itself. How many time do you have people that either ignore the fights (what matters is the nodes) or taking the nodes (what matters is kills) in frontlines, when it's a little bit of both in 90% of the time. Then there are the people that don't open their map and react with 2 minutes delay.
CC should have better matchmaking, but the concept itself is fun.
It also would be a lot more bearable if it wasn't lagging so much, the game often gets stuck for a good 5 seconds where i can't do anything.
I'm not the biggest fan of PvP (or at least CC), and it's mainly something to do with me than the mode. While I could go on and on about casual balance, the main issue for me is my lack of focus. I've tried having the enemy HP bars close to my hotbar, turned off battle effects and keep close to the party, but so much happens between trying to move the crystal and seeing my fellow party members bounce around like headless chickens or break away from the group for odd reasons, and some or most of us (usually I'm among them) get killed. It had gotten so bad that I remember getting so pissed that I'd have come off as toxic if the chat wasn't disabled. The only reason I put myself in that situation repeatedly was to get all of the GARO and Rank 25 rewards and not worry about it until the next Series.
In the middle of the second Series reward panel season, I got hit with loss after loss after loss that I ultimately decided that PvP wasn't worth the frustration and quit the mode, and I haven't been back ever since. Which sucks because I've heard about how Frontlines gives off decent weekly Series XP, and I want to go back but the experience from the last time has made me hesitate coming back.
So when I see something like this board, it makes me think more and more that I made the right decision.
The concept itself is fine. I don't enjoy it but I'm kinda forced to play every season cause I want the battlepass rewards. After I've gotten everything, see ya.
Don't look at it as a competitive mode since there's no balancing at all. It's just one of the many fun modes the game provides.
Seriously, I'd like to win or even lose faster in Crystal Conflict to get my battlepass sooner. It's a disaster to join a match where everyone refuses to give up and congest the crystal for 10 minutes.
Even if you begin to enjoy the competitions, then you'll learn that there are people out there using triggers to auto-refresh or give themselves all sorts of nasty advantages. Meh.
