ATK power VS VIT

Cap your stats first, then worry about attack, you get a bigger damage boost until you reach cap.

Isn't VIT the secondary stat for War like Piety is for Drg? Personally I've noticed Atk Power > Int on Mnk in terms of overall damage, but like most others I've yet to do a thorough test as well.

VIT can be added as follows:

So based on that, you get more points attack power for a given tier of materia than you get VIT for that same tier. So in terms of dmg output for the same tier of materia, it's attk over VIT. Grey, If you don't get it after that, then there is no hope for you.

I think that quote is dated info, from when he first did tests back at 1.19 or 1.20 and came up with the initial 290 stat caps. Yes, VIT is the secondary stat for WAR. I'm just going off what Seiken tested, I'm not going to say "I think" or "I've noticed" in regards to anything since I haven't done in depth testing myself! The only reason I follow his damage ratios is because it's the only thing I've seen to have a somewhat decent testing phase...

I believe stat caps change with what weapon you have as well. IE they are capped sooner if you are using a lower DPS weapon.

You may infarct already have hit your cap for vit in which case more atk would win out.

What weapon are you using?
