What's Woke about FFXIV? Julius having Blue Hair? Maybe Im just to old and dont get it. Stuff like this just makes no sense the way people use it.
The games not even in Maintenance Mode, if it were we wouldnt be getting new (I know, subjective word) content, or Live Letters to tell us & show us said new content WITH a trailer.

hate when my game goes in maintenance mode and they tell us about how they're looking forward to developing the next 10 years of the game while touting a large-scale graphical overhaul

The fact that it came back from the ashes is why it's stale now. They are too scared to try anything risky or innovative, lest they accidentally burn it down again.

I think any game gets stale after a number of years. It might or might not have anything to do with the content being provided. I suspect the culprit is the player themselves just getting tired of something.

Either the content still works for you or it doesn't. No point in continuing to try to get the devs to change content plans to suit your personal tastes. Play if you are enjoying it or move on if you are not.

I logged in to an alt the other day and was shocked by how woke my character was... I did log off at an Inn so it was my fault really.

just like viera and hrothgar hats that have been a thing for years as well thanks to modders ? But apparently the devs are incapable of doing it ?

The fact you have such high expectations for the "large scale graphical overhaul" is absolute comedy, and I cannot wait for it to actually be released so you can see how underwhelming it will be.
