I think paladin's magic phase has to go. It adds no depth to the job anyways. DRG's jumps have no depth too, they're literally just a bunch of oGCDs. Masterful Blitz? More like depthless bloat, am I right?

Played it for Sigma Savage, all of Eden, and this tier. My information is public. Kaiten was used for every midare and every higanbana. there was no choice, no depth, just make sure you have kenki. I can count the number of times I didn't have kenki for it on both hands, over 5 years? almost 6 (at least in savage when it mattered and not during low level stuff when kenki buildup was godawful).
Namikiri is literally just old midare on a 2 min cd. It was a terrible exchange. midare got nerfed for this.
Yes, one button that is only used on two abilities and provides no flexibility adds no depth.
Don't worry, this somehow is considered better Gameplay

Look at that juicy " Shinten-Spamming " gameplay... Not to mention " Hissatsu: Kyuten ", its so much more thoughtful , so much depth so much woah. Way more meaningful choices to make, yay... (obviously) In no way shape or form did this water down the gameplay.

Some other actions would go in the reverse direction, starting out as flat AoEs and then gaining a stronger main target hit. Some other jobs can benefit from this as well.
Another possibility is checking target count on cast: for example, Foul is 600+240n and Xenoglossy is 800...just make the Foul/Xenoglossy action check for two targets; if only one target then do 800 and if more than one target do 600+240n.
Samurai is fine.
As a terrible casual, I don't get what was so precious about Kaiten. It was just an extra button you had to press every time you were about to use the other skill.
I just want Fuga to either stay a cone or change to a circle aoe... really obnoxious for the aoe shape to change from a cone to circle after 60 levels of it being a cone.
DRG over in the corner crying at no AoE until 40
