I think he's feeling some stress, he used to be the only one causing mischief and now a large amount of people seem to be doing the same thing, taking his fun away from him.

It isn't the fact a single streamer is saying this people should be paying heed to. It's the fact this complaint is becoming increasingly common. Whether the people saying it be a minority or not, the fact it's being put to word with growing frequency, and by people from all different demographics within the game's playerbase, is an indicator that it should at least be given due consideration.
Also bear in mind how much money this game has made streamers like MrHappy and Zepla. Them speaking out against it is not without risk, because there does exist a percentage of humanity which is petty enough to completely turn their backs on someone over something like that.
Lmao that's literally not the point. Video game content creators are a barometer of the mood of the playerbase. For any video game, the biggest content creators are usually about as lukewarm on any issue as possible. And they're increasingly negative now in EW, which says something about the mood of the playerbase when such a sentiment is acceptable and will not cause them to lose too many subscribers or viewers. Zepla and MrHappy are about as close to a "vanilla lukewarm" streamer as you can get.
This. So much for """minority""" rofl
Copium, for the first time you're finally in the minority. Suck it!!!!
Which is literally why her opinion is a good barometer because her opinion generally does not offend the majority of the playerbase. She's incredibly safe lol. That means that the relic being atrocious in EW is now the standard, "safe" opinion.
In before the stupid argument, "ItS cAtCh Up GeAr".
Truth is the players are also disliking it. Here is an extrapolation from the Steam Player base.
It is true that FFXIV has never been more popular than now, however, if we look at trends this particular expansion has a much more violent quit rate than any that comes before it. So while people heard good things about XIV and trying, they are not liking it at the same rate people have in previous expansions. In turn I feel previous expansions have done a much better job of retaining players.
the lines represent the retention rate over a period of 12 months after an expansion releases.
