It's always been like this. The game has never hidden what it is. It's surprising to me that people expect it to be different each expansion, like we haven't had 10 years of precedent.

Yeah literally no point other then aesthetic. FFXI on the othe hand have grinds that rewarded you for your time and that gear would last you several months. In XIV it's dime a dozen. And they always release relic cycles 2 patches too late when they should be releasing relic steps alongside each new raid tier so the raiders have content to get their raid gear and casual players have a grind to get relic gear.

Bad design IMO but it pads out the game when it has no content left.

Relic weapons that provide some kind of additional effect like FFXI ones do (as well as armor) would also be partially helpful as to how cookie-cutter combat across most jobs became here.

See... I tried taking you seriously before, and then you got offended by a wood joke. If you were consistent, you should also be offended by Limsa, Sastasha, the ladies in Ala Ghiri that offer their services directly to the player, and the many other innuendos all over the game, but I doubt that's the case.

So at best: You're acting like a spoiled child that isn't getting exactly what they want, presents all complaints in a vacuum ignoring work conditions and flat out dismissing COVID, doesn't even trust the devs yet expects them to read him in earnest, and then acts surprised when most people don't take him seriously.

Sir, you're not controversial. You're just a provocateur. The game is far from perfect, and I personally still have issues with Viera customization and a few other things, but the devs could add 1000 new features and if they weren't what you want, you'd still complain.

I think at this point you are my hero haha, I am getting so tired of OPs antics and I know he must get off on the fact he bugs people with trolling otherwise he won't do it. He reminds me of my one mate who is cynical over absolutely anything. There is no joy in anything super analytical and critical of everything unless it caters to a vague blind nostalgia.

I like Island Sanctuary! Its a nice chill piece of content that I hope they keep adding too. Sorry if you dislike it but, you know, not everyone will click with everything added in the game. You dislike this? Some people disliked past relic zones. I dislike PVP but it would be rather pathetic if I threw a tantrum whenever they added to that part of the game. Theres constructive criticism sure, and thats always important.. but what you post is sadly rarely that I am afraid to say.
