1.5+ million damage, 8-0 KD, still lost, CC is bad

CC is fine. what do you expect in a game with random team mates and objectives? this types of games will only ever be "good" when its organized teams of 5v5, or if its 1v1. play for fun or dont play at all, pretty much goes for any game. i bet doing all that damage was fun

This was about 4 months ago but it's generally how Palaistra goes.

Also without actually having seen the match, it matters little how much damage and kills you pumped and ended with 0 deaths. The kills could have happened where it didn't matter and didn't peel for players that needed it. Heavy / Bind / Stun could've been where it didn't save anything.

Time on objective is probably the worst metric you can think of to evaluate someone's performance. Especially as a ranged player. And especially as a ranged player that can push buttons, like the OP seems to be.

The people claiming it to be this important probably rush in 1v5 on the objective, die in 5 seconds, stagger their whole team for another 15 seconds and then use the "Push the Crystal!" quick chat, thinking their teammates are the issue.

It provides no data which jobs he sent back to spawn, whether important Limit Breaks got denied in critical situations or not, if his kills actually created space / air for his team when it mattered or not, etc.

I also don't know if he did 1.5million in 5 minutes or +3-4min overtime without having the information at hand.

I don't deny the numbers being impressive, I just doubt the value until I know more.

There is a reason why we tend to ask for recordings of gameplay because scoreboard interpretation can go wrong really fast.

Ohh, he is one of these player who chases after a good KDA instead of winning the game.
I like having these kind of player's in the enemy team because I'm able to force 5vs4 because they probably focus me as a healer for a "easy kill" and once my LB is ready I turn around and help my Team with the objective.

Or having multiple people like it in the enemy team.
They destroy my team and chase them all over the map while I sit on the crystal and just win the game with 0/0/0 stats.

I was on the point when it was appropriate to be on the point, and got off when it wasn't any more. As a MCH, standing on the point against 5 enemies when you're the only left alive because your team is failing despite you not failing is not how you win Crystal ranked matches. Getting my self killed for no good reason by buying an extra 5 seconds with Guard to keep the point from moving is not worth the 10+ seconds of my respawn timer plus the time it takes to get back to the point once I do respawn, and the time missed out on my LB not charging during death. I swear some people can't critically think which is exactly why I go 1.5 million damage against you. It's not my fault my team is more bad than your team is.

Winning the game doesn't always mean camping the point, especially as a MCH. This match was a lot of 5vs5'ng on the point it self, so I got big value from Bio Blaster and Aether Mortar. It just didn't matter because my team didn't team fight as well as the enemy team despite me being the best team fighter. And funnily enough, the enemy WHM was the enemy team's worst player so I was able to kill her several times, as I needed to to stop her LB spam, AoE Protects and Cure 3s on the point which are huge value. Given my damage and KD, I didn't lack for killing anyone on their team, the problem is my team was so bad they didn't know how to capitalize on it or carry their own weight. You wouldn't be in Crystal rank with a "0/0/0 stats just standing on the point" strategy. You'd never make it past Plat at best.

My 0-5 35k damage done 96k damage taken RPR was the main culprit, here. What value did he give our team by rushing the point and dying instantly with no damage dealt, chain CC, or otherwise significant contribution to our victory? Give me a 1.5 million damage MCH that knows when it's appropriate to stand off the point and team fight any day.
